Bowmore distilled the 38 Year Old on January 14th, 1957, and moved it to casks in the famous Number One Vault. The distillers watched over the whisky for 38 years before bottling it in the mid-1990s to preserve its 40.1% ABV. This legendary bottle comes in a handmade oak case crafted by the master cabinet makers of Charles Kirkby & Sons in Sheffield, England.
